Okay I get it…who the heck needs 12K? Hear us out.

Blackmagic just released the URSA Cine 12K, and it looks like a nice upgrade. 12K is not for everyone…clearly with a $7000 price tag to just get the camera (Media, batteries, lenses and everything you need to make a film sold separately.)

👉 What’s the hype?
✔️ Insane 12K footage for ultra-crisp visuals
✔️ The RGBW sensor allows full high resolution capture at all resolutions without cropping in on sensor.
✔️ Downsize to true 4K

👀 The big question: Do you really need 12K? Most people are still uploading 1080p TikToks. And the screen you’re reading this on…80% chance it’s not even 4K (Yeah iPhones don’t have 4K displays either.)
